Brother Kanker is a character in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. He is a Nosferatu vampire of the Brotherhood of the 9th Circle, of Los Angeles. It is known that he Embraced G. Pangbourne around 1750.[1]
Personality and Traits[]
He is a sadistic and merciless individual, uncaring about human life. Kanker is a butcher and a madman. He is extremely loyal to the Brotherhood as he tries to recruit the fledgling.
Abilities[]
He is a very powerful vampire who engages in melee combat and has great talent with Potence.
Related Quests[]
There are two valves in the corners of the room. The player can use them to open a hatch in the floor and use it to exit the boss room during combat. From outside the room, Brother Kanker can be killed using guns or other methods.
Background Information[]
- "Kanker" is Dutch for "cancer." It's also a homophone for "chancre," a pustule associated with syphilis, and the related "canker sore," an ulcer typically found in the mouth. All definitions are disgusting (appropriate for the Nosferatu) and associated with disease (appropriate for someone spreading a supernatural plague).
