Cover Girl is a quest available in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

Acquisition[]

This quest is received from Imalia when the fledgling speaks to her about Tawni Sessions in the Warrens beneath Hollywood. If the fledgling insults Imalia but then apologizes, she will ask for a copy of Guy Magazine, Spring Edition to make up for their rudeness.

Walkthrough[]

Brief[]

  1. Leave the Warrens and head to the Sin Bin.
  2. Speak to Flynn Boyle and ask about the magazine.
  3. He will offer to sell a copy for $500 (he may accept $400).
  4. Once the magazine has been purchased, return to Imalia.

Notes[]

  • It is possible to not receive this quest depending on how the conversation with Imalia goes. If the player does not insult her at all, then she will only offer Model Citizen; however, if they insult her too much, then she will simply tell them to leave and not offer either quest.
  • Once the conditions for this quest have been met (read above), it will be impossible to get Model Citizen for the rest of the game, even after this quest has been successfully completed. With unofficial patch you can get Model Citizen if not asking for compensation for magazine.
  • Returning to Imalia after completing Model Citizen will result in this quest being given, including Imalia saying it's a way to get on her good side again, regardless of whether the fledgling actually insulted her or not.
  • The magazine costs $500 (or $400 if the player bargains with Flynn); however, Imalia will only reward $200 for its retrieval (and this only if the player asks her to), meaning a lower income than the money spent for completing the quest, not to mention this quest doesn't give any experience points at all, making this sort of a punishment quest obtained for insulting Imalia in the first place.
