Fun With Pestilence

Fun With Pestilence is a quest available in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

Acquisition[]

The quest can be acquired from two characters, either Damsel of the Anarchs at the Last Round or from Maximilian Strauss, the local Tremere regent, at the local chantry, as soon as the fledgling reaches the Downtown district. The quest can be done parallelly for both parties and rewards earned from both of them if it is kept a secret that the fledgling is already on this case for the other side.

This quest will be triggered for the first Plaguebearer regardless of whether it is Jezebel Locke or Brother Kanker. As such you can deal with Jezebel immediately and Brother Kanker later if preferred.

Walkthrough[]

Brief[]

Next to The Last Round talk to a homeless woman.
Persuade her to tell you about the disease.
Go to the alley across from The Last Round and talk to Tin Can Bill.
Use a sewer entrance right at the end of the alley.
Lockpick the iron door to reach the inner sanctum of the second plaguebearer or go left.
Get closer to the crucified man in the main room to make Brother Kanker appear.
Kill Brother Kanker. 1 EXP
Push the switch to raise the bars and leave the sewers.
Report back to Damsel.

Log Entry
Update: Upon receiving quest: Damsel has set you on the trail of the plaguebearer, the Kindred responsible for the outbreak of the LA epidemic. She has suggested going to speak with the ghoul Paul at the Skyeline Apartments, or talking to some of the bums around the city.

Update: A helpful homeless person has pointed out Tin Can Bill as a possible link in the plaguebearer chain. He can be found in the alley across from The Last Round.

Update: Tin Can Bill has pointed you in the direction of the sewers near where he took his last breath as the possible home of the plaguebearer.

Update: You have killed Brother Kanker. Report back to Damsel.

Update: Upon completion: You have reported back to Damsel that you have killed the plaguebearer, but she has informed you that there are others... Quest Complete
