Humans are mortal beings, seen by vampires as 'herd' or 'cattle'.
Background[]
Humans can range from being a reliable blood source, enemies, or allies.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, humans litter the streets as NPCs. They can fed upon for blood, and some can be interacted with further, such as prostitutes.
If mortals see the Player breaking the Masquerade (using Disciplines, catching the Player feeding or hurting someone) then they will call the police to the scene, and they will attack on sight.
As the police consist of mortals, they can be fooled very easily. This can be done by using Obfuscate, hiding in the sewers, or staying out of sight.
Trivia[]
- The only vampire that all human NPCs react to is the Nosferatu, due to their appearance. However, their reactions can be influenced by using Dominate, Presence or Dementation in dialogues.
