Jumpin' the Bail is a quest available in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

Arthur wants the fledgling to help him find a bail jumper named Michael Durbin aka Muddy. He suggests looking for him at the apartment of Marian Murietta, Muddy's girlfriend, who lives in the Pawnshop Lodgings.

Acquisition

After the fledgling has informed Arthur about Carson quitting, he'll ask for help with a bail-jumper.

Walkthrough

Brief

1. Go to apartment 507 in the Pawnshop Lodgings.
2. Pick the lock or take the key behind the potted plant.
3. Listen to the answering machine. ^{( 1 EXP)}
4. Return to Arthur Kilpatrick. ^{( 1 EXP, $150)}
5. Quest Complete

Detailed

After speaking to Arthur, go to the Pawnshop Lodgings and find apartment 507. It's the one right across from your first haven. The lock is level five. If you can't pick it, take Murietta's apt key from behind the potted plant. Go inside.

There's an answering machine on a low table by the window. Listen to the message to learn that Michael Durbin went Downtown to see Sean Milton. Milton's apartment is apt 2A of the Skyeline Apartments. Before reporting back to Arthur, go into the kitchen of 507 and take the skill book Peepin' – A Voyeur Field Guide from one of the cupboards near the floor.

Report back to Arthur and tell him Muddy fled somewhere Downtown. He'll pay you and say he needs to hire a real bounty hunter to go after Muddy. ^{( 1 Exp, $150)}. This will start the quest Mudd Hunt which allows the fledgling to search for Muddy independently.

Update: You have intercepted a message from Mr Durbin. He is headed downtown to the Skyeline Apartments, 2A, the residence of a Mr. Milton. He is also expecting a call from someone named Reno. You should report back to Arthur.
Update: Upon completion: You told Arthur that Mr. Durbin left Santa Monica. Quest Complete
