Kent Alan Ryan is a Toreador vampire whom the Anarch Skelter mentions disappeared from Los Angeles recently. Before his disappearance, he maintained a ghoul named Patty who is later an active part of the quest Attention Whore – the player is sent to eliminate her as she is an obvious danger to the Masquerade. She appears to not even be aware of Ryan leaving town, and she is experiencing withdrawal, causing her to question his whereabouts publicly, even after being told he was deceased. She is becoming more of a threat with her persistence in tracking him down. Skelter hires the player to get rid of her, but she can be convinced to leave town instead, with the mission still being marked successful.
If the fledgling navigates through the labyrinth in Dr. Grout's mansion, they can find vampire remains in a room with sunlight coming in through a window. There was a driver's license there hinting that this was Kent Alan Ryan, but it had to be removed because of technical reasons.
