“ | Just shows you don't have to be cute or care what you look like to be a cool (chick/dude). ―Patty | ” |
Patty is a character in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. She is a clubhopping Toreador Ghoul living in the Downtown area of Los Angeles. Her master Kent Alan Ryan was recently killed.
Personality and Traits[]
She spent much of her time waiting at Club Confession for Kent to show up, refusing to accept that he was either missing or dead. Her constant demands for information on his whereabouts began to threaten the Masquerade, prompting Skelter to ask the prince's agent if they could "solve" the Patty problem.
Patty portrays herself as a show off. She appears annoying and dimwitted to the fledgling, either not caring for the Masquerade or somehow completely unaware of it. When meeting the fledgling, she states how it's weird she hasn't seen them before as she "knows all the vampires in LA area." She comments on how she knew the fledgling would talk to her as vampires are, according to her, always drawn to her.
Although not a Kindred, Patty was stereotypical to the clan: she was very condescending to other vampires for lacking style, and was extremely self-centered and dismissive of anyone else. This likely stemmed from fear: without her regnant, she was afraid she might age.
Related Quests[]
- Attention Whore
- Patty's loudmouth antics have made her a target of Skelter, who hires the player on a quest to make Patty "disappear" and in turn preserve the Masquerade. Skelter states not only is her existence risking Kindred being revealed to humankind, but her consistent bragging and questioning of her Master's whereabouts is risking the city the attention of Vampire Hunters.
- There is an option to send Patty to the Abandoned hospital after the player has completed the Necromantic quest, making her Pisha's meal. It's also possible to send her to Vandal Cleaver as part of the Replanting a Lily quest if the fledgling is a Nosferatu.
- With high enough persuasion the fledgling can tell Patty a lie about Kent moving to San Diego. Patty will leave LA in search for him and will never be seen again. If you wish to get rid of Patty without losing humanity or using violence this method can be a good option.
Trivia[]
- Patty describes herself as a "very passionate person." This may be a reference to "Passionate Patti," a character from the classic Leisure Suit Larry adventure game series, in particular Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals.
