The Cathayan, real name unknown, was a Kuei-jin operative sent in Santa Monica to spy on the Kindred.
Background[]
This Kuei-jin was sent to Santa Monica as a spy. Judging by the reports on his email he had been in place for just under a fortnight. However, he was discovered by Bertram Tung, who sent his Ghoul, Knox Harrington to investigate him. Knox will provide an optional quest for The Protagonist to track and kill the "Asian Vampire".
Abilities[]
The Cathayan was a very powerful warrior, with exceptional reflexes, being able to jump to and from great heights. He also uses his sword with great proficiency.
Trivia[]
- The protagonist can mention that they have also seen him when talking to Knox inside the Asylum. This is, at least in the plus patch, triggered by the protagonist leaving the parking garage onto 2nd street, where a sewer lid can be heard closing.
