The Enemy of My Enemy is a quest available in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

Acquisition

This quest is given by LaCroix after returning to him for completion of Hell at the Hallowbrook Hotel.

Walkthrough

Brief

1. Speak to LaCroix to receive the quest.
2. Head to The Last Round. (Beckett will intercept about a block away for a dialogue.)
3. Speak to Damsel and convince her to reveal Nines location. ( 2 XP)
4. Take a cab to Griffith Park. (Taking the cab is a point of no return; see the notes, below.)
5. Take the cable car up to the observatory.
6. Speak to Nines, during the discussion a fire will start. ( 2 XP)
7. Watch the cutscene as Nines is tackled by a Werewolf before being faced by a second one yourself.
8. Defend yourself against the werewolf until the cable car returns.
   1. (Optional) Head through the observatory and out the back door to activate power.
   2. (Optional) Head back into the observatory, to the telescope room. Open the doors for the telescope.
   3. (Optional) If the werewolf is outside he will jump onto the platform and try to enter through the doors. Closing the doors now will kill the werewolf and offer additional experience. 4 XP
9. Take the cable car back down. ( 4 XP)
10. Speak to Smiling Jack to complete the quest.
11. Quest Complete

Update: Upon receiving quest: The prince has sent you to the Last Round to find out where Nines Rodriguez is hiding out. His plan is to have you find Nines and unite the anarchs and Camarilla in a war against the Kuei-jin.
Update: After speaking with Damsel: Damsal has revealed to you that Nines is hiding out in Griffith park. You need to go there and find him to unite the anarchs and Camarilla in a war against the Kuei-jin.
Update: After speaking with Nines: You have made contact with Nines Rodriguez in Griffith park. But something's wrong.
Update: Upon completion: Against all odds you have made it out of Griffith park alive. Someone set you and Nines up. Quest Complete

Notes

• This quest represents the "point of no return" in the story, after completion (specifically, taking the cab to Griffith Park), the player will not be able to visit the majority of areas in the game. Do not take the cab to the park until all remaining/desired sidequests are complete.
• The objective once the Werewolf appears is simply to survive, it is not necessary to kill it although this rewards additional experience.
