The Regent's Riddle is a quest available in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

The quest is received upon reading the card found on the desk in the Santa Monica haven.

Go to Downtown.
Find the Tremere Chantry.
Talk with Maximillian Strauss. 1 EXP

Detailed[]

While there is no real challenge to this quest it is notable for the huge gap between the point at which it can first be acquired and at which it can be completed. Since the Tremere Chantry is located in Downtown all main quests found in Santa Monica need to be completed before being able to meet Strauss. Once the main part of the Explosive Beginning quest has been completed, talk to the cab driver in the taxi parked next to the diner in Santa Monica and travel to Downtown. You will have to use map in the sewers in case you are a Nosferatu.

Once in Downtown keep your eyes open for a building with a purple glowing window at the top. Enter it and go down the maze-like corridor which will lead you to Strauss' study. Simply talk to him to complete the quest. 1 EXP

M. Strauss, the Tremere regent, has invited you to his home in downtown Los Angeles. You need to find him. His invitation left a cryptic riddle which reads:
"Dark blood, our curse, a light this verse
Such power I sense in one so young
Come find me where burns the mystical sun."
