Trick or Treatment is a quest available in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

Acquisition

After entering Santa Monica's clinic and entering clinic Room 1, the quest will be initiated after interacting with the injured woman on the cot.

Walkthrough

Brief

1. Speak to Knox Harrington.
2. Learn about ghouls.
3. Enter the Medical Clinic.
4. Dementate or Persuade the receptionist for access from the front door or sneak in through the back door in the alley.
5. Enter Room 1.
6. Speak to the injured woman.
7. Find Dr. Malcolm St. Martin. (optional)
8. Speak to the injured woman again.
9. Give her blood.
10. Quest complete.

Detailed

Before first entering the clinic, the player must have learned about how to create ghouls. This can be done by talking to Mercurio before approaching the clinic, or through Knox Harrington, who approaches you automatically near the clinic's front door and initiates a conversation. Asking either character about how they became a ghoul will inform the fledgling of the healing potential of a vampire's vitae. After meeting Knox, he will introduce himself as a ghoul to a "nasty dude."

Now enter the clinic proper. Attempting to move past the reception desk will cause the receptionist to interrupt. Either Dementate or Persuade her to allow access past. If neither option is available to you, simply enter through the back door in the alley to bypass the receptionist entirely and enter the clinic floor.

In Room 1 of the clinic is a critically injured woman bleeding out. She will beg that a doctor be brought to her. ^{(quest log updated)} Exit the room and go down the hallway to the left. In an examination room is Malcolm St. Martin, a surgeon. He will not leave, as he is busy. You can circumvent this entirely by simply speaking to the woman again. Choose to help and feed her blood. ^{( Humanity Gain, 1XP, quest log updated, quest complete)}

Do not attempt to explain how she has been saved right now or she will uncover that the fledgling is a vampire and scream for help. ^{( Masquerade Violation)}

The girl is now a ghoul and will meet you Downtown in front of Venture Tower after completing Elizabethan Rendezvous.
